ARTICLING STUDENT
Michelle Akpaka is an articling student at Gittens, de Beer & Associates. With a solid background in civil litigation, arbitration, corporate law, and estate litigation, Michelle has been gaining invaluable experience across a wide range of legal practice areas.
Before joining the firm, Michelle worked as a senior legal counsel at a leading fintech company in Nigeria, specializing in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Michelle also brings previous experience from commercial law firms, contributing to a strong foundation in civil litigation, corporate commercial and regulatory matters.
At Gittens, de Beer & Associates, Michelle is committed to providing high-quality legal services to clients, while upholding the values of integrity and professionalism. She assists clients with issues ranging from civil litigation, family law disputes, wills and Estate, and immigration matters.
