Renée Murphy-Turner

Renée began working with Gittens, de Beer & Associates in January of 1998, and in her 27 years at the firm, she has focused primarily on Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice and Small Claims matters. Outside of her work with Gittens, de Beer & Associates, she likes to spend time with her son, go on walks and enjoys a good crime documentary.  


Renée is currently a member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association.

Kelsey Hogan

Kelsey Hogan

Kelsey graduated from Academy Canada in 2017 with a Diploma of Social Sciences in Paralegal Studies and joined the Gittens team upon graduation. Since that time, Kelsey has assisted with various areas of law including, personal injury, real estate, family, and wills & estates.

Kelsey enjoys going for walks with her dog and spending evenings by the fire with family and friends. If she’s not doing either of those things, she can be found watching a good crime show/documentary.

Krystal Chafe

PARALEGAL

Krystal received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Memorial University in 2006 and returned to her studies in 2019 by joining the Paralegal Studies program at Academy Canada. In between schools, Krystal spent time tutoring English grammar, traveling in Europe and Asia and worked in the restaurant industry while volunteering with various literacy organizations.
 

Krystal started at Gittens, de Beer & Associates as a work-term student, officially becoming part of the team upon graduating with Honours from Academy Canada. Since that time, she has assisted with various areas of law but is most passionate about wills and estates.
 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son, camping, hosting dinner parties and curating different meals and drinks.
